# Reusable Show Intro & Outro — Optimized Airway (v2, neutral tone)

Record these ONCE at high quality in your own voice. Buzzsprout's Magic
Mastering + the intro/outro splice feature will attach them to every episode
automatically — you only ever record the body.

Pronunciation reminders before you hit record: **hygienist = hy-JEE-nist**,
**myo = MY-oh**, **myofunctional = MY-oh-funk-shun-ul**.

---

## COLD OPEN (5–8 sec — optional teaser)

Pull a short clip from the body of each episode as a hook.

Example for Ep 1: *"Every seat on this team sees a different piece of the
picture. This is the piece we see from the hygiene chair."*

## RECORDING NOTES

- **Mic distance:** 4–6 inches, slightly off-axis to avoid plosives.
- **Room:** a closet with clothes in it beats any microphone upgrade.
- **Tone:** warm and conversational — one colleague to another over coffee.
Not broadcast voice, and never a lecture.
- **Pace:** ~150 words/min. Slower than feels natural.
- **Music bed:** one royalty-free track from Artlist, Epidemic Sound or
Soundstripe, used forever for brand consistency. Warm acoustic guitar or soft
  piano, ~70 BPM, no vocals.
- **Re-record once a year** so energy stays fresh and the URLs stay current.
